The Royal National Lifeboat Institution - Saves Lives at Sea

This weekend sees the return of the tremendously successful Spooky Walks starting off from the RNLI boathouse at Kinghorn.

The local lifeboat crew volunteers have decided to hold more spooky walks this weekend, after the enjoyment shared by all in last years walks. Organiser and crew member, Evelyn Stoker said, " The crew have decided to continue the Spooky walks this year but to change the areas and stories which will be visited. So even if you were lucky enough to take part in last years walks, then this year will be totally different..with new scares awaiting the unsuspecting."

"Carrying a clean change of underwear is recommended," she joked, adding " due to the nature of these types of walks we would advise that it is suitable for children aged 12 and over unless accompanied by an adult who is aware that there is a fear factor built into these walks."

The walks will be held on Friday 28th - Sunday 30th October and from 7pm - 9pm each evening. The cost will be £3 per adult and £2 for Children/oaps although there will be deals of £8 for a family of four. It would be wise to book in advance by telephoning Kinghorn 890020, although you can also turn up on the night ..but places were at a premium last year.

There will also be entertainment, Face painting, Lucky dips etc within the lifeboat Station. All monies raised will go directly into the RNLI funds for the lifeboats.
