COME FOR AFTERNOON TEA TO SUPPORT THE RNLI

Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat Fundraising Branch are inviting you to join them for Afternoon Tea on Saturday 12th April.

This new event is being hosted by the local volunteer RNLI fundraisers in Kinghorn Church hall. The event starts at 2pm, when afternoon tea will be served to the sounds of local group Euphoria String Quartet and vocal group Pink Champagne.

Kinghorn lifeboat fundraising committee chairperson, Sheona Smith said, ‘this promises to be a lovely afternoon of entertainment and a great excuse to get your hat on and join us and help raise funds for the RNLI.

‘We will be serving sandwiches, scones and cakes accompanied by local groups Euphoria String Quartet followed by a performance by Pink Champagne from Kirkcaldy who are excellent.

‘This will be an afternoon to take you back to the days of the taking of tea and coffee of yesteryear with on trend miss matched bone china, cake stands of dainty sandwiches, scones and delicious cakes as currently being enjoyed in the trendiest tea shops in the land.’

‘Tickets are selling well for this event, and I would urge you to get one soon!’

Tickets for the event are available from Kinghorn Community Centre, and the Dragon’s Den. There will be no tickets available on the door. All proceeds will go the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
