LIFEBOAT LAUNCHES CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EARLY
Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat Fundraising Branch and the local Kingswood Hotel are making final preparing for their annual Shopping Evening this Friday, 8th November. A number of tickets are still available.
This exciting event is being hosted by the Kingswood Hotel, in aid of the RNLI. The Shopping Evening is being held again following very successful events in 2011 and 2012 which have raised over £6,000 for the RNLI.
The evening event will be open between 6.30pm and 9.30pm and will feature 22 stalls offering a range of goods including jewellery, handbags, beauty products, candles, spirits, chocolates, lingerie, handmade gifts, children’s party clothing, gifts for men, demonstrations and much more.
Kinghorn lifeboat fundraising committee chairperson, Sheona Baxter said, ‘We are once again delighted that the Kingswood has decided to hold this event again. This event is growing in popularity, and we have held two hugely successful events previously, and this year we are oversubscribed with stalls which means there will be a great range and choice for our supporters. We have a number of tickets remaining, and I’d urge you to get them soon!
‘The event promises to be a huge success, and will provide an opportunity for people to pick up a variety of unique gifts for Christmas. We have a diverse range of stalls coming along, which will have something to suit everyone.
‘The hotel is also running a prize draw again for dinner, bed and breakfast at the hotel; everyone who buys a ticket for the event will be entered into the draw for this fabulous prize.
Tickets for the event are available from Kinghorn Community Centre, the Kingswood Hotel, Dragon’s Den, Potter About (Burntisland), and fundraising committee members. They cost £10 and include a glass of wine and delicious canapés. All proceeds will go the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
