LIFEBOAT LAUNCHES CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EARLY
Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat Fundraising Branch and the local Kingswood Hotel are preparing for their second Shopping Evening on Friday 9th November.
This exciting event is being hosted by the Kingswood Hotel, in aid of the RNLI. The Shopping Evening is being held again following a very successful event in 2011 which raised over £3,350 for the RNLI.
The evening event will be open between 6.30pm and 9.30pm and will feature around 20 stalls selling a range of goods including jewellery, handbags, beauty products, candles, chocolates, handmade gifts, children’s party clothing, gifts for men, pet treats and many more. There will also be a ladies and gents fashion show during the evening.
Kinghorn lifeboat fundraising committee chairperson, Sheona Baxter said, ‘We are delighted that the Kingswood has decided to hold this event again in 2012. It was hugely successful in 2011, where we sold out of tickets, and the feedback from people who attended was fantastic.
‘The event promises to be a huge success, and will provide an opportunity for people to pick up a variety of unique gifts for Christmas. We have a diverse range of stalls coming along, which will have something to suit everyone.
The hotel is also running a prize draw again for dinner, bed and breakfast at the hotel; everyone who buys a ticket for the event will be entered into the draw for this fabulous prize.’
Tickets for the event are available from Kinghorn Community Centre, the Kingswood Hotel and the Dragon’s Den. They cost £10 and include a glass of wine and delicious canapés. All proceeds will go the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
