The Royal National Lifeboat Institution - Saves Lives at Sea

Kinghorn lifeboat Spooky Walks were even more popular than ever this year.

Keith Hay, volunteer Helmsman and organiser of the walks said: 'This weekend proved to be the most successful year so far with 355 people attending, including 141 children. Although not everyone completed the walk....the weather stayed fair and it was unseasonably mild, which probably helped.'

'We received lots of very favourable feedback, with people who had attended before saying that it was very professional and even better than last year! People seemed to be really up for it this year, with many coming along in fancy dress, which helped to build the atmosphere.'

'As a result of the three nights of walks we have raised £1300 for the RNLI and I know everyone involved would like to thank the public for coming along and providing their support and also the media for their assistance in promoting the charity event.'
