Called to Largo Bay for a False Alarm

The lifeboat crew were called to the assistance of a vessel on fire. Initially, the information received was that the vessel was in Largo Bay. It then turned out that the vessel was between Kinghorn and Inchkeith Island. Upon further investigation it transpired that the vessel wasn't on fire, and all was well. Anstruther Lifeboat and a local BP firefighting tug were also called to assist, but stood down.
