Called to Forth Road Bridge for a Person In Water

The volunteer crew was tasked by Aberdeen Coastguard to undertake a search east of the Forth Rail Bridge following reports of a person falling from the Forth Road Bridge on an ebb tide.

Kinghorn Lifeboat undertook an area search east of the rail bridge, around Hound Point oil terminal, and across to Inverkeithing Bay. Queensferry Lifeboat, local Coastguard Rescue Teams, and Royal Navy helicopter Rescue 177 also took part in the search.

Nothing was found and all resources were stood down after a thorough search of the area.
