Called to Inchkeith Island for a Vessel Sinking

The lifeboat was called out after a 12m catamaran struck rocks between Inchkeith and the Little Herwit rocks.
The vessel suffered significant damage to its hull causing the port hull to sink.
The lifeboat arrived onscene to find the catamaran well underwater with a list. The lifeboat took the vessel under tow to Granton, but the towline parting once.
Once the vessel was safely tied up the lifeboat returned to station.
